UNRAVELING SECRETS - Victorian London

Set in Victorian London in the late 1800’s, UNRAVELING SECRETS is the first in a historical romance trilogy.

Modern and independent, Abigail Bradford has relied on only herself to protect her family for years. But when her father's murderer returns from the dead to threaten them again, she is desperate for help. She hires reclusive Viscount Stephen Ashbury, a man with his own dangerous reputation, to scare the thief away.

Cursed with the ability to read auras of good and evil after an electromagnetic experiment gone terribly wrong, Stephen hovers on society's fringe, keeping secret his unique skill as well as his occupation of solving impossible cases the law won’t touch. The persistent Miss Bradford with her unusual golden aura intrigues him and he reluctantly agrees to aid her.

In Stephen’s arms, Abigail discovers a passion she didn’t think possible but will do anything to explore. Unwilling to forfeit her independence, she offers Stephen an illicit affair although her heart yearns for more. He tries to resist the connection he feels to Abigail, afraid she'll unravel his secrets and despise him. But when he discovers the thief’s return is linked to his own past, Stephen must decide whether to reveal all or risk the chance for love.
