Why romance?
As a romance writer, this question seems to pop up a lot. First of all, I’m guaranteed a happy, satisfying ending. Secondly, I love stories about people changing for the better. Love is often the catalyst for that change, but the desire to change has to come from within.

Why historical?
When I pick up a book, I enjoy escaping into another time and place. Writing historicals provides that escape for me as well. I especially love medieval times. Knights, horses, ladies, jousting—all awesome things! Yes, I know the reality of those times was not the romantic version we see in books and movies. Still, that particular time period has always held a special appeal for me, especially their daily life.
